Overview

Thiess, a global leader in mining services, is searching for a qualified Storeperson to join the team at Iron Bridge, Western Australia, operating on a 14/7 roster. This role demands collaboration with the Planning and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure efficient and accurate management of tooling, assets, and supplies within the mining site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tool store operations including inspection, testing, and calibration of tools and equipment.
• Manage tooling assets using the WASP asset management system to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with inspection, tagging, and testing protocols for lifting equipment, working-at-heights gear, and electrical tools.
• Input SOS sample data into Oil Commander as required.
• Oversee the procurement and replenishment of workshop consumables to maintain operational readiness.
• Coordinate tooling repairs, servicing schedules, and calibration activities efficiently.
• Manage waste collection processes for general and hydrocarbon waste through third-party providers.
• Apply extensive warehousing and logistics expertise within the mining site setting.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in tool store and warehouse operations within mining or similar industries.
• Familiarity with asset management and maintenance systems such as WASP and JDE software.
• Strong organizational capacity, effective communication, and solid time management skills.
• Ability to resolve stakeholder concerns and address operational challenges proactively.
• Competency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Valid Forklift High Risk Licence is essential.
