Store Supervisor

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Supervisor working 30 hours per week, focused on supporting the store management team at Ryman. This role aims to boost store turnover and revenue by applying lean principles while maintaining exceptional customer service. As a representative of the Ryman brand, you will act as an ambassador, promoting the company's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Ryman and the broader Theo Paphitis Retail Group by gaining thorough product and company knowledge and positively conveying this to customers.
• Contribute to making Ryman the leading High Street Stationer by consistently delivering outstanding customer service.
• Foster a culture of excellent customer engagement, ensuring team members enthusiastically interact with customers; assist in training colleagues and utilize available resources to enhance team performance.
• Ensure all company systems are secure, accurate, and properly used by all team members in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards to uphold the store's presentation.
• When Store or Deputy Manager is absent, take full responsibility for the security and safety of staff and property, ensuring branch operations comply with company guidelines.
• Motivate colleagues to achieve sales targets and KPIs, coordinating with the Retail Support Centre to address any issues, and assist with weekly time sheet management.
