Role Overview
The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing daily store operations in compliance with company procedures. This includes stock receipt, issuance, secure storage, and accurate inventory record keeping utilizing ERP software, PDA scanning, and spreadsheets to ensure real-time stock monitoring. The role calls for frequent stock level assessments, adherence to inventory control methods, and coordination with sales teams, customers, and internal departments to facilitate timely order processing and smooth operations. The Store Keeper will also compile detailed inventory reports and guarantees proper care in handling mobile phones, electronics, and accessories, abiding by safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably within the mobile phone or electronics sectors.
- Minimum educational attainment of G.C.E. A/L or equivalent with theoretical understanding of warehouse and inventory management, supported by certifications or diplomas.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, PDA devices, and mobile applications for stock tracking.
- Strong grasp of stock handling processes, including FIFO and cycle counting methods.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with sales teams, customers, and internal units, including report and email writing abilities.
