Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in Vancouver and the surrounding Lower Mainland. The role involves leading on-site activities, coordinating trades, managing client relations, and ensuring projects valued from $1M to $35M are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Immediate or near-immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Foster strong collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Coordinate with the Project Management team to align site execution with budgets and client expectations.
• Serve as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients.
• Manage thorough documentation using tools like Procore and SiteDocs, including field reports, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Monitor and control project budgets, identify efficiencies, and provide financial updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in commercial construction, preferably as a Site Superintendent.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
• Proficient leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, SiteDocs, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Current residency in the Greater Vancouver area with availability for in-person site work.
• Preferred immediate or near-immediate start (within 1-2 weeks).
