Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a solid background in DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or production engineering. This position requires hands-on experience with key technologies for building and managing highly scalable and reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Proven experience working in roles such as SRE, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Production Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, shell scripting, version control using Git, continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD), containerization with Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Expertise in observability solutions, including working with logging, metrics collection, distributed tracing, alerting mechanisms, and creating operational dashboards.
- Experience in integrating various systems with enterprise tools for monitoring, alerting, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Incident Response procedures to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
- Competence in creating and maintaining runbooks, establishing operational processes, designing escalation paths, and defining support models to enhance production reliability and response effectiveness.
