Role Overview

The Site Engineer position involves full-time, on-site engagement in Singapore. The successful candidate will manage daily site operations related to steel construction and installation, coordinating efforts with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel. The role demands ensuring that all structural works are carried out in compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate steel construction and installation tasks on site.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure conformity to design and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders including engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Resolve technical challenges encountered during construction activities.
• Support quality control initiatives to uphold construction integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports and documentation related to site activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong experience in on-site supervision within active construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in quality control measures and inspection processes specific to steel works.
• Educational background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree preferred).
• Knowledge of construction drawings, local safety regulations, and building codes applicable in Singapore.
• Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions in dynamic site conditions.
• Prior experience in steel construction or similar projects is advantageous.
