Work Schedule
The role involves a fixed rotating weekly shift pattern:
Week 1:
- Sunday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Monday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Monday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, as early morning shifts are involved and health and safety legislations must be adhered to.
Compensation Notes
A premium of £3.00 per hour is added to any hours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Role Overview
The Shift Lead will take charge of the fill operation to ensure the sales floor is prepared and ready for trading. They will oversee tasks related to coordinating resources effectively for serving customers, selling, restocking, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fill operations and coach team members on standardized best practices to optimize productivity.
- Allocate team members efficiently to deliver seamless customer payment experiences.
- Ensure daily operational procedures are executed correctly across the store at appropriate times.
- Manage the team to maintain a store environment that is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Create and foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Exemplify excellent customer service and act as a role model for company behaviors and colleague expectations.
- Assist Colleague Managers by providing feedback on team members to support performance management and recognize outstanding contribution.
- Support adjoining stores operationally when needed.
- Hold keyholder responsibilities, including responding to emergency call-outs.
- Manage opening and closing tasks such as vehicle receipt, temperature monitoring, logging operational issues with helpdesks, cash handling, and compliance during peripheral hours.
