Service Advisor

Overview

Power Tech Tuning seeks a dedicated and proactive Service Advisor to manage client interactions at its Parafield Gardens workshop. This position is full-time and requires the individual to be the initial point of contact for customers, converting inquiries into confirmed appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming sales calls, emails, and inquiries, including following up on leads that have not yet converted
• Generate precise quotes for performance parts and labor using the company parts catalog
• Order necessary parts from suppliers and monitor their status through to job completion
• Schedule work orders, maintain effective communication with customers regarding updates, and oversee front desk and administrative duties
• Maintain organized and up-to-date inquiry and customer records, ensuring no detail is overlooked

Role Details

The position involves dealing with Holden and HSV performance upgrades as well as European vehicle tuning, covering both hardware modifications and ECU/TCU calibrations as an authorized Evolve Technik dealer. Candidates should be comfortable discussing and explaining services related to LS builds and European vehicles including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor, parts interpreter, workshop sales representative, or substantial sales experience coupled with solid automotive knowledge
• Ability to confidently and accurately provide quotes and discuss pricing with customers without needing constant confirmations
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage tasks effectively even with frequent interruptions
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with CRM and quoting systems
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Applicants must include reference number 47 in their application to demonstrate attention to detail

Preferred but Not Required

• Familiarity with Holden and HSV performance parts, LS engine platforms, or European performance car ECU tuning
• A strong interest in one area and willingness to learn the other; training will be provided
