Role Overview

The Senior QA / SDET Engineer will work fully remotely in a full-time capacity, joining this fast-paced, innovation-driven team. The focus is on automation-first quality engineering for a platform integrating voice, desktop, AI, and intelligent components. Manual QA is not performed here, with weekly code deployments necessitating rapid regression test cycles and immediate quality feedback to maintain agility.

• Conduct load and stress testing to ensure services meet latency requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years' experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), writing actual automation code (Go, Python) rather than manual scripts.
• Expert in root-cause analysis and issue isolation, enabling rapid, precise bug reporting.
• Experience in managing fast and parallel regression testing workflows, facilitating quality assurance at weekly deployment tempo.
• Proficient in load, stress, and soak testing of high-throughput, low-latency event-driven systems.
• Knowledgeable in testing event-driven architectures, WebSocket flows, browser extension behaviors, and conditions like race conditions and real-time state changes.
• Strong CI/CD mindset with experience integrating tests into trunk-based pipelines and managing flaky tests as critical defects.
• Skilled in contract and API testing between services, including generating synthetic data, simulated calls, event streams, and audio for repeatable real-time testing.
• Experience with testing AI outputs using evaluation-style assertions for non-deterministic LLM or ML features is a significant advantage.
