Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager will join Disney's Technology team to spearhead strategic digital initiatives within Disney Experiences. This role involves steering product strategy, developing concepts, and collaborating with various teams to implement initiatives that drive commercial growth and enhance guest interactions. The position is based onsite in Orlando, FL, working Monday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product vision and roadmap throughout all phases of delivery.
- Lead the collection of requirements, formulate user stories, prioritize tasks, and coordinate efforts across multifunctional teams with continuous communication to stakeholders and leadership.
- Oversee testing approaches to perform concurrent assessments aimed at improving conversion rates, guest satisfaction, and informing future strategies.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate product success and identify optimization opportunities for ongoing improvements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, creative services, commercial operations, and customer support.
- Prioritize initiatives collaboratively with business, product, and engineering partners, facilitating technical alignment discussions.
- Coordinate with Engineering and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth deployment of product iterations.
- Anticipate and address risks, dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Champion the product internally and externally by articulating features, benefits, and value to stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer demands, informing strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years in product management with a focus on digital software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling products by identifying customer needs, creating a vision, building roadmaps, defining success metrics, and delivering results collaboratively.
- Experienced in utilizing AI tools to enhance product discovery, decision-making, and execution across multiple teams.
- Skilled at translating business and customer requirements into actionable user stories.
- Proficient in leading agile, cross-functional teams within collaborative environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide clear direction and engagement.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to balance technical and business considerations effectively.
- Competent in managing digital user experiences via enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS).
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with consumer-facing products or services.
- Background in hospitality or technology sectors.
- Familiar with various Content Management Systems.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledgeable about collaboration platforms like Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
- Understanding of design principles and best practices.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this Orlando, FL role is $135,200 to $181,200 annually. Actual offer will consider internal equity, location, candidate’s skills, experience, and other factors. Additional compensation may include bonus and/or long-term incentive units. Comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits will be provided according to the level and position.
Work Schedule
This role requires onsite attendance Monday through Thursday in Orlando, Florida.
