Senior Document Controller

Overview

The Senior Document Controller is responsible for managing the document control system for infrastructure and utility projects, ensuring precise filing, distribution, and traceability of all project documents across various packages within large-scale developments. This role is stationed on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, providing supervision services for construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the project document control system to ensure accurate filing and traceability of documents.
• Administer transmittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and related correspondence between involved parties efficiently.
• Maintain updated document registers and enforce strict version control in compliance with project procedures.
• Support project teams by facilitating document retrieval, reporting, and meeting audit requirements promptly.
• Ensure adherence to the project's document management system, such as Aconex or equivalent platforms.
• Handle documentation administration across multiple interfacing packages including civil, wet utilities, and dry utilities/high voltage within a single Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• At least 12 years of overall relevant experience in document control or related roles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role involving project document control.
• At least 5 years of regional experience within the Middle East.
• Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading) is mandatory.
