Role Overview

The Senior Director Strategy at Billion Dollar Boy plays a critical role in steering the agency's strategic direction. This leader brings extensive experience in crafting innovative content strategies that align with and exceed client goals, delivering fresh approaches that clients have yet to encounter. They will shape how prominent brands engage audiences through creator culture, supervising strategic outputs for a distinguished client roster, and spearheading strategic efforts in major pitches.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Strategy Directors to advance team growth and spearhead initiatives in partnership with agency leadership.
• Provide insightful feedback and serve as a mentor to a team of 5–6 senior strategists, enhancing the overall quality of strategic work.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, proactively discovering opportunities to grow client business through strategic recommendations.
• Lead the strategic narrative and direction in large-scale new business pitches and RFPs.
• Assess campaign performance outcomes to inform future approaches and strategies.
• Implement strategic frameworks that distinguish the agency's point of view.
• Coordinate strategic resource management alongside Resource Management and senior leadership.
• Contribute to agency thought leadership by producing articles, participating in events, and sharing innovative perspectives with clients.

Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive background in developing and executing content strategies that fulfill client objectives and explore possibilities within the creator domain.
• Proficient in crafting clear, inspiring creative briefs grounded in human insights.
• 10 to 12+ years of digital marketing expertise, particularly in social media and content development for significant clients.
• At least 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
• Deep understanding of media planning, distribution, and content syndication.
• Strong capability in driving creative thinking across digital content, media, social platforms, and activations.
• Adept at building robust relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Familiar with emerging technologies, new content formats, social media trends, and is well-connected to entertainment and pop culture.
• Recognized as a dynamic and innovative problem-solver who offers fresh perspectives by identifying unique connections.
• Collaborative yet independent thinker who proactively shares ideas to enhance projects.
• Experienced coach who provides guidance and encourages constructive questioning to uplift work quality.
