Position Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Senior DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer to participate in a paid remote AI training initiative emphasizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The commitment is flexible, up to 40 hours weekly depending on project availability, and fully remote. The focus is on authoring authentic engineering prompts, configuring LocalStack environments, and devising validated golden solutions for AI to excel with Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop natural language prompts resembling real engineering tickets with realistic nuance and professional context for AI training.
- Set up and manage LocalStack sandbox environments to simulate AWS infrastructure for task validation.
- Create initial infrastructure states and verify golden solutions using automated end-to-end tests.
- Maintain high standards of task quality; exclude simplistic or improperly formatted tasks.
- Assess and select correct answers from AI-generated responses to infrastructure questions.
- Initiate prompt creation to guide AI model development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Expertise with at least one IaC platform: High priority for AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), CloudFormation; secondary options include Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Solid programming skills in at least one language used for infrastructure scripting or testing: TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent written English communication adhering to strict stylistic guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation up to 50 USD per hour with additional incentives based on skill and project scope.
- Payments processed through PayPal and AirTM.
- Flexible workload, typically 5–10 hours per week with the possibility of up to 40 hours.
