About the Role

Located in Calhoun, GA, Scalamandre is looking for a diligent 1st Shift Sample Order Puller to work in our warehouse. This position involves careful pulling, verification, and preparation of fabric sample orders, ensuring excellent quality and prompt delivery to our customers.

Incentives

A hiring and retention bonus of up to $1,000 is available within the first year of employment. Details about this bonus will be provided during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Precisely pull fabric sample orders according to customer requests and work orders.
  • Confirm fabric style, color, pattern, and quantities before finalizing orders.
  • Label, package, and prep samples for shipment effectively.
  • Keep inventory accurate by putting materials back in the correct storage locations.
  • Inspect fabric samples for defects or damage prior to shipment.
  • Utilize handheld scanners and track production to log completed orders.
  • Collaborate with Inventory, Shipping, and Production teams to maintain order accuracy and timeliness.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety protocols.
  • Support inventory counts, restocking, and other warehouse responsibilities as assigned.
  • Meet daily goals for productivity and quality while paying close attention to details.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in warehouse settings, order pulling, inventory management, or material handling.
  • Experience with fabrics, textiles, or flooring products is advantageous.
  • Ability to carefully read and interpret work orders to identify fabric styles and color patterns.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and handheld scanners is a plus.
  • Capable of working both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach during shifts.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
