Sales Engineer

About the Role and Company

This position is for a Sales Engineer based in Pune within the HVAC projects sector, operating in service industries. The role involves technical and operational responsibilities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial site surveys and create detailed site reconnaissance reports.
• Evaluate site feasibility and ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain timely approvals for design and technical layouts.
• Engage with landlords and building management to secure site access and procedural consents.
• Develop and maintain internal project schedules to track progress effectively.
• Coordinate with vendors for on-site execution across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to execution checklists, quality benchmarks, and MIR procedures.
• Compile and distribute snag reports, flag pending or defective work, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Manage procurement activities and verify timely delivery of materials tied to the project's scope.
• Oversee receipt, validation, and quality inspections of site-level materials.
• Guarantee comprehensive and compliant project handovers from vendors.
• Facilitate smooth transitions to operations or facility management units.
• Verify design compliance of layout implementations and asset installations.
• Monitor vendor follow-ups during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
• Assess and oversee client-specific customization requests to their execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering specializing in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related disciplines.
• Possesses 0 to 1 year of experience relevant to the role; however, the ideal candidate for related responsibilities should have experience up to 4 years in project execution, vendor supervision, and MEP systems oversight.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for technical evaluations and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites with regular travel commitments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project scheduling software, and report preparation.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and project layouts.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Compensation

The offered salary ranges from INR 17,000 to INR 25,000 per month.
