Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will collaborate closely with the SME Growth Account Executives to cultivate and qualify prospective leads, fueling the sales pipeline. The role involves engaging creatively and autonomously with potential clients, collaborating with marketing teams to design targeted, product-driven campaigns, and identifying valuable business opportunities while managing early sales funnel activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Advancing qualified leads through the sales funnel by scheduling meetings and connecting prospects with sales representatives.
- Initiating outreach to potential customers via calls or responding to marketing-generated inquiries.
- Implementing designed customer engagement strategies through diversified communication channels including calls, emails, chats, and social media.
- Building rapport with prospects to uncover their needs through effective questioning, enabling well-informed handoffs to sales teams.
- Providing prospective customers with tailored product information based on identified needs.
- Following up with interested prospects who have yet to become sales opportunities.
- Nurturing existing customer relationships through consistent communication to discover additional needs.
- Managing lead lists efficiently, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining CRM data accuracy, and aiding in weekly reporting.
- Testing and recommending outreach methods and best practices to optimize lead engagement.
- Contributing insights to marketing teams to refine targeting and messaging approaches.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience excelling in a Sales Development Representative or related role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- A keen interest in technology sectors.
- A motivated self-starter comfortable with a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
