Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and develop prospects within designated territories and industry verticals.
  • Identify decision-makers using various prospecting tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.
  • Create and maintain precise targeted prospect lists and keep Salesforce data accurate and up to date.
  • Perform high-volume daily outbound activities including cold calls, voicemail campaigns, personalized email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and follow-ups from trade shows or marketing campaigns.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing facility types, energy profiles, operational details, market participation, decision-making dynamics, and fit with Rodan’s services.
  • Arrange meetings and discovery calls with Business Development Directors, ensuring detailed handoffs with context and qualification notes.
  • Ensure consistent documentation in Salesforce regarding communication, activities, and next steps with zero exceptions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team weekly to prioritize efforts and support marketing campaigns and client expansions.

Required Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in sales, inside sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Preferably skilled in outbound cold calling and experienced with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce; familiarity with sales engagement tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, time management, perseverance, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
  • Based in Calgary, Alberta with an expectation to work onsite approximately three days per week.
