Job Overview
Join Van Cleef & Arpels as a Sales Associate based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for managing a sales channel which may include direct, online, or retail sales. Your role will involve creating and executing channel sales strategies that align with the company's overarching business goals, identifying new business opportunities, setting sales targets, and continuously monitoring sales performance to ensure targets are met or surpassed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute relationship management plans targeting complex potential customer accounts to engage relevant decision-makers and facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
- Establish clear objectives for sales engagements, prepare and present customized presentations addressing the interests and requirements of key decision-makers, collect and analyze pertinent data, and secure agreements outlining customer needs.
- Build a strong professional network within the sector by representing the company at industry events to gather market intelligence and enhance brand reputation and visibility.
- Develop and offer sophisticated product and service solutions tailored to customers' medium to long-term needs, collaborating with internal experts, and negotiate agreements within predefined commercial limits, escalating exceptions to senior management when necessary.
- Lead pricing and terms negotiations with strategic external partners, and oversee projects relating to pricing and contract terms.
- Monitor specific business performance metrics to ensure alignment with strategic financial targets.
- Administer a portfolio of contracts, negotiate service-level agreements, and coordinate activities around major contract execution and management.
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, identifying opportunities for enhancements to improve customer interactions.
- Enforce compliance management protocols for designated external partner segments.
- Develop and deliver product education programs aimed at elevating team capabilities and meeting business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies, policies, regulations, or operational procedures, maintaining accrediting qualifications and staying updated through professional development activities and industry resources.
- Consistently adhere to and promote the company’s diversity and inclusion policies across all activities.
Qualifications and Experience
A Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification is required. Significant professional experience is essential, enabling the associate to manage a broad range of situations independently and to provide guidance to colleagues. Proven experience in supervising junior staff is also necessary.
