About the Role
Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Residential Cleaner to service residential properties by performing move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties for occupancy. This position requires an individual with experience, professionalism, strong organization skills, and the ability to work autonomously in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled residential cleaning appointments including move-in, move-out, and rental turnover services
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and other areas following company standards
- Clean appliances including refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any remaining items
- Wipe down surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and other high-touch areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness
- Identify and report any issues requiring further attention like repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or pest concerns
- Provide thorough documentation via clear before-and-after photos and videos of each property and cleaning session
- Submit detailed updates, notes, and reports after every visit
- Maintain professional communication with tenants, property owners, and internal team members
- Adhere strictly to cleaning checklists, appointment instructions, and property access guidelines
Additional General Tasks
- Deep cleaning tasks
- Cabinet and drawer cleaning
- Window sill and baseboard cleaning
- Garbage disposal and light debris cleanup
- Property readiness inspections before showings, inspections, or move-in
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, or similar in residential settings
- Thorough understanding of residential cleaning standards and procedures
- Reliable personal transportation is necessary
- Possession of required cleaning supplies and equipment for each scheduled appointment
- Comfort working independently without direct supervision
- Ownership of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone featuring a high-quality camera for capturing property conditions
- Competency in documenting cleaning results through clear photos, videos, and written notes
- Strong punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Respectful communication with tenants, property owners, and colleagues
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, and rental turnover cleaning
- Knowledge of property readiness requirements before showings and inspections
- Abilities to note and report damage, maintenance issues, junk removal, pest problems, or unsafe conditions
- Background working independently in field roles within property management, cleaning, maintenance, or home services companies

- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple residential properties
- Personal cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments
- Smartphone capable of taking high-quality photos and videos
- Ability to send concise updates, images, and notes following every job

This position centers on cleaning and ensuring properties are ready for occupancy. Cleaners are responsible for flagging any such concerns as damage, maintenance needs, pest issues, junk requiring removal, access difficulties, or safety hazards for appropriate follow-up by designated teams.
