Position Overview

The Cleaner role involves attending residential rental properties to perform cleaning duties including move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and prepping properties for listing readiness. This position suits an organized, professional, and experienced individual capable of working independently in the field, following checklists, documenting completed work, and recognizing any property issues needing attention prior to listing, showings, or tenant move-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental homes for move-in/move-out, turnover, and listing preparation.
• Carry out thorough residential cleaning per company standards covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and unwanted items as necessary.
• Thoroughly wipe down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch points.
• Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and floor cleaning tasks.
• Clean inside appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when needed.
• Identify areas requiring additional cleaning, debris removal, repairs, maintenance, or further follow-up.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos of properties and completed work.
• Submit precise updates, notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning visit.
• Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants as applicable, and internal teams.
• Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment specifics.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner.
• Thorough knowledge of standard residential cleaning expectations.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
• Comfortable independently attending residential rental properties.
• Own an iPhone 13 or equivalent high-quality camera smartphone.
• Ability to take sharp photos and videos documenting the work.
• Skilled at writing clear notes and providing updates after each assignment.
• Ability to function independently without close supervision.
• Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Capability to follow detailed checklists, instructions, and property access procedures.
• Effective and respectful communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with move-in/move-out or rental turnover cleaning.

• Ability to identify damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access challenges, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services environments.
