About Heritage Lifecare and Waterlea Lifecare

Role Overview
We are searching for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Waterlea Lifecare team. This permanent full-time role entails a minimum of 32 weekly hours working on a four days on, two days off roster, covering AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts. The position focuses on providing compassionate, top-standard care in a warm environment where forming meaningful connections with residents and their families is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a team of Caregivers to deliver exceptional quality care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans for residents.
- Perform clinical assessments to maintain the health and well-being of residents.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with residents, families, and medical professionals.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Services and Care Home management to enhance care delivery.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse within New Zealand or internationally.
- Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated compassion, positivity, and dedication to helping others.
- Strong team player with empathy and motivation to improve resident well-being.
- Commitment to ongoing improvement and adherence to health and safety standards.
