Recruiter (Contract)

Overview

This is a contractual recruitment position supporting Microsoft via Allegis Global Solutions, focusing on early-career talent acquisition in Ireland for the EMEA Global Programs. The recruiter will manage the complete hiring cycle for interns, graduates, apprentices, and research candidates, ensuring an inclusive and efficient recruitment process. The role operates remotely and involves collaboration with hiring managers and stakeholders to build robust early-talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and shortlist applications of early-career candidates effectively.
• Conduct initial virtual interviews to assess candidate fit.
• Coordinate and execute assessment centers and recruitment events.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment phases from sourcing through to offer closure.
• Negotiate and extend employment offers while managing candidate expectations.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and program stakeholders.
• Ensure recruitment compliance with local employment laws, visa requirements, and anti-discrimination policies.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and recruitment data analytics.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in early-career recruiting focused on interns, graduates, and apprentices.
• Proven sourcing strategies targeting campus recruitment and internship pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with university partnerships and organizing school engagement events.
• Proficient in application review, interview scheduling, and recruitment coordination.
• Skilled in offer creation and negotiation.
• Experience managing assessment centers or bulk hiring events.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced Microsoft Office capabilities.
• Ability to independently handle multiple roles and candidates simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Recruiting experience within global or EMEA-wide programs.
• Background working in large multinational corporations.
• Exposure to hiring for technology or research roles is advantageous.
• Experience with GitHub sourcing is a plus.

Additional Information

• Location: Remote work based in Ireland.
• Contract duration: 13 months.
• Working hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (business hours), totaling 39 hours per week.
• Compensation: Daily pay range between €196 and €207 (PAYE).
