Job Summary

Become an essential part of RONA by ensuring smooth management of the merchandise receiving and returns area. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to our success, directly contributing to an exceptional customer experience while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage receipt of all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow onto store shelves by sorting, unpacking, and operating forklifts to move products to proper locations.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, approve unscheduled deliveries, and ensure adequate space for incoming products.
• Verify accuracy and integrity of received inventory and complete required administrative documentation.
• Process supplier returns and liaise with suppliers as necessary.
• Coordinate with other store teams on merchandise movements and address delivery-related questions and concerns.
• Order parts for various products and perform all related tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to operate forklifts or similar motorized equipment such as order pickers or lift trucks.
• Experience in warehouse environments, specifically inventory handling and storage.
• Retail stock management and storage experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily without assistance.
• Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction.
• Capability to work under challenging conditions such as extreme cold, heat, weather exposure, heights, or continuous/intermittent noise.
