Role Overview

The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, focusing on collaboration with client teams to ensure building and infrastructure projects are executed punctually, within budget, and uphold quality and safety standards. This position offers significant exposure to complex and distinguished project schemes within the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain thorough understanding of NEC contracts and related contract management duties.
• Contribute to tender and contract document preparation and participate in contract evaluations.
• Ensure contract drafts align with NEC standards, clearly defining scope, insurance, payment conditions, compensation events, and program submissions.
• Assist in pre-contract tender procedures including tender evaluation, clarifications, and preparing contract award recommendation documentation.
• Oversee commercial aspects during procurement and support procurement strategy development and agreement.
• Prepare NEC contracts employing detailed compliance checklists.
• Support standardized document preparation, encompassing reports, correspondence, and financial statements.
• Contribute to quantity surveying processes, tender analysis, and preparing tender reports.
• Take initiative in contract documentation support with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Manage project and program commercial risks proactively and ensure execution of mitigation measures.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the organization.
• Support internal document management and maintain accurate trackers and records.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• Desirable knowledge of Quantity Surveying principles.
• Preferably Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent).
• 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with NEC, POMI, NRM, CESMM, and/or FIDIC contracts.
• Preference for candidates with international market experience.
• Proficiency in CostX, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sector experience in water and/or infrastructure-related development projects.
• Skilled in data collection, analysis, and presenting information effectively.
• Proven track record delivering services within a Design Consultancy setting.
• Strong knowledge of contract language, administration, and management.
• Hands-on experience implementing NEC contract forms, including pre-contract tendering on NEC projects.

Location and Contract Details

Locations include Mumbai (MH), Noida (UP), and Ahmedabad (GJ) in India. The role is permanent, full-time, within the cost and quantity surveying discipline.
