Role Overview and Responsibilities
The QHSSE Systems Coordinator will spearhead initiatives to analyze and control the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) along with developing advanced Risk Intelligence across projects. This involves comprehensive identification and mapping of cost leakages to their root causes and embedding CoPQ tracking seamlessly into ERP systems, aiming for a consolidated and reliable data source. The role includes crafting dashboards that deliver early warnings on budgeting and quality concerns and establishing cost control strategies linked to non-conformities and process limitations. Collaboration with Finance and ERP teams is key to foster greater cost transparency.
Driving Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement projects is a critical element, involving conducting detailed process mappings, value stream analyses, and systemic problem solving to streamline workflows and embed a culture focused on efficiency and data-driven progress. Identifying opportunities for process optimization across departments and projects will be essential.
The candidate will also lead digital transformation efforts by implementing and continually improving QHSSE digital platforms such as Mango and MyCompliance. This includes designing automated workflows and reports, enhancing audit management systems, and integrating AI and automation technologies within quality, legal updates, risk evaluations, and inspections.
Tracking and managing QHSSE and Quality key performance indicators globally will require setting measurement frameworks, targets, and real-time monitoring via Power BI dashboards. The role demands trend analysis and corrective recommendations to align with organizational goals.
Supporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy rollout, compliance with regulatory frameworks (including UAE climate mandates), and sustainability reporting will be part of the remit. The coordinator will seek opportunities to lower environmental impacts and enhance compliance standards.
Additional responsibilities include preparing comprehensive executive reports, visual analytics, and presentations that communicate operational insights, risk, and opportunities clearly to the senior leadership to aid strategic decisions. The role also demands exploring AI innovations and supporting strategic transformations to continually advance efficiency and compliance.
QHSSE and Compliance Expectations
All activities must strictly follow the company’s Integrated Management System and ISO standards, adhere to procedural policies, and uphold occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality guidelines. The coordinator has the authority to halt work immediately upon detecting unsafe conditions, ensuring a zero-harm work environment and must report such findings to management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and demonstrate proficiency in quality management, process improvement, digital system implementation, and risk intelligence. Experience with Lean Six Sigma projects and digital platforms integration is expected.
