Role Summary

We are seeking a QC Analyst to join our high-performing laboratory team at Manorhamilton Rd, Sligo. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract involving rotating shifts including 12-hour day and night schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure integrity of computerized data systems.
  • Comply with relevant regulations and business processes for laboratory data integrity.
  • Perform laboratory housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Conduct timely chemical testing of raw materials.
  • Ensure proper use and upkeep of test equipment.
  • Process change requests and data verification tasks as assigned.
  • Complete in-process sampling and testing promptly.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all laboratory tests.
  • Follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) guidelines.
  • Assist in resolving quality-related issues.
  • Develop and update internal lab procedures as needed.
  • Support training of new analysts.
  • Facilitate the transfer of new products into the laboratory process.
  • Adhere to and promote Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and quality standards and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A third-level qualification in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
  • At least 6 months of experience with HPLC or GC analytical techniques.
  • Experience working within cGMP-compliant environments using laboratory equipment.
  • Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
