Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join a pioneering company specializing in foundational large language models (LLMs). The main objective is to develop and enhance proprietary datasets that fine-tune and benchmark AI model performance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and sustain clean, efficient Python code aimed at training and optimizing AI models.
- Perform thorough evaluations to benchmark AI model performance and derive insights for ongoing improvements.
- Assess and rank AI model answers to user inquiries across different subject areas, making sure they meet established guidelines.
- Lead supervised fine-tuning activities by generating and maintaining specialized, task-focused datasets.
- Work closely with researchers and annotators to apply reinforcement learning using human feedback and enhance reward modeling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced command of Python programming and related AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
- In-depth knowledge of strategies for evaluating and benchmarking AI models.
- Proficiency in designing Python-based solutions for data generation and model optimization tasks.
- Understanding of methodologies for evaluating and ranking AI model responses.
