About the Role
Join WSP New Zealand Ltd as a Property Consultant based in one of our South Island regional offices, including Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Dunedin, or Invercargill. In this role, you will contribute to projects across Aotearoa focusing on acquisitions, disposals, and legalisation of properties. The position offers flexibility with options for part-time or full-time hours and involves collaboration with a supportive regional property team dedicated to delivering high-quality results for clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage acquisition, disposal, and legalisation property projects with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with property owners and various property professionals to facilitate project goals.
- Produce detailed and accurate reports supporting project outcomes.
- Work independently as well as contribute effectively within the broader regional property team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in property, legal studies, or a related field.
- Preferably at least three years of professional experience within property valuation, property law, or Central/Local Government property sectors.
- Familiarity with the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act, and related legislation is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent report-writing abilities.
- Effective time management and organisational capabilities.
- Problem-solving skills with creative thinking to develop solutions.
