About INTEC Energy Solutions

INTEC Energy Solutions is an international EPC and O&M business that delivers complete solutions for utility-scale solar power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). With a secured and delivered project pipeline of more than 5GW worldwide, the company is a well-established player in renewable energy, helping deliver major clean energy developments across Australia and New Zealand.

Role Overview

INTEC is growing its project delivery capability in Australia and New Zealand and is looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to join its Christchurch team. In this position, you will contribute directly to the planning and successful delivery of large renewable energy projects by creating, maintaining and tracking integrated schedules through the full project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Planning & Risk Manager, you will support planning, scheduling and monitoring for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with Project Managers as well as Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commercial teams to keep schedules accurate, track performance and support decision-making with clear reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, revise and keep up-to-date integrated project schedules that align with execution plans, work breakdown structures, procurement timelines and construction programmes.
  • Create look-ahead schedules, follow project progress and maintain reliable as-built programmes so the schedule always reflects the latest project status.
  • Prepare regular progress updates, milestone reports and schedule reviews, calling out variances, critical path effects and opportunities to improve delivery results.
  • Work with Project Managers and cross-functional teams in Australia and New Zealand to check schedule inputs and ensure all project disciplines remain aligned.

About You

You are an organised and analytical planning professional with experience contributing to the delivery of complex construction, infrastructure or renewable energy projects. You work well with multidisciplinary teams and are focused on producing accurate, dependable schedules that help projects succeed.

What You Should Ideally Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in project scheduling within construction, infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy or EPC settings.
  • Hands-on experience creating, maintaining and reporting on integrated project schedules, including progress tracking, milestone reporting and critical path analysis.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination and analytical abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities across teams in different locations.
  • Exposure to Australian and/or New Zealand construction or renewable energy projects will be an advantage.

Why Join INTEC

You will be part of a global renewable energy organisation helping deliver projects that support the shift toward a cleaner energy future. The role offers the chance to work on major utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Australia and New Zealand, collaborate with experienced project professionals and grow your career in an international company that values innovation, teamwork and high standards.
