Project Manager - Construction

Overview

A Tier 1 main building contractor is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee delivery of a large-scale industrial development in South Kildare. This significant project includes multiple industrial and ancillary buildings, with on-site work scheduled to begin early 2026, presenting a unique chance to lead this flagship construction from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of the project delivery from start to finish.
• Manage all stages including briefing, specification, procurement, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Supervise design teams, subcontractors, and utility providers throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary liaison for adjacent landowners, neighboring stakeholders, subcontractors, and local authorities.
• Collaborate closely with internal commercial, finance, and technical teams.
• Lead the snagging, de-snagging, and lock-up activities for all internal works until achieving practical completion.

Requirements

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience managing large-scale building projects as a Project Manager in Ireland or the UK.
• Demonstrate a solid history of successfully delivering major building projects for main contractors.
• Hold a minimum of 7 years' total experience within main contractor roles across Ireland or the UK.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range approximately €110,000 to €120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
