About the Role
A banking client requires a Project Coordinator to support their team primarily onsite in Mississauga, Ontario. This assignment is a contract role extending for at least six months with full-time weekly hours, working onsite four days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support medium-scale project delivery and assist with larger, complex cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
- Lead project coordination including planning, scheduling, onboarding resources, tracking requirements, and managing documentation.
- Track and report project performance with updates on scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and quality measurements.
- Identify, record, and facilitate resolution steps for project challenges such as risks, issues, or blockers, escalating as necessary.
- Manage coordination across multiple teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and effective handling of dependencies.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive-level updates to enhance decision-making and stakeholder communication.
- Organize meetings, drive follow-up on action items, and ensure projects meet deadlines and milestone commitments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience managing projects within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
- Strong capabilities in project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, and engaging stakeholders.
