Job Overview
The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate the development and maintenance of new products across multiple functions, teams, regions, and cultures. Their role involves ensuring projects are completed timely, within budget, and according to scope by collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution of projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Track and align team schedules, focusing on critical path activities.
- Deliver program status updates to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Create and manage reports and tracking tools to monitor adherence to schedule and budget.
- Identify obstacles and drive decision-making to prevent project delays.
- Assess risks and formulate contingency strategies.
- Ensure compliance with New Product Development and Introduction (NPDi) processes.
- Support project team members as necessary.
- Lead initiatives for ongoing process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; MBA is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide teams toward shared objectives.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and project planning capabilities.
- Experienced in conducting and leading cross-functional meetings and presentations, in-person and virtually.
- Ability to quickly build collaborative relationships across functions to achieve goals.
- Focused on processes and results with a record of achieving targets.
- Preferred experience with 3-phase power distribution or busbar products.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective engagement at all organizational levels.
