Role Overview

This position is based at our Ultra High Temperature (UHT) processing plant located in Lough Egish, Castleblayney, County Monaghan. As a Production Operator on a 12-month fixed term contract, you will participate in all phases of production and develop expertise in various specialized manufacturing processes. The position requires working a rotating three-shift schedule over five days, with occasional weekend shifts. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Duties

• Operate and monitor all production processes and conduct necessary tests promptly and accurately to meet established product criteria.
• Immediately report any deviations or non-conformities in process or product quality to supervisory staff.
• Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) and sterilization procedures on production equipment, lines, and storage tanks diligently and thoroughly.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, quality control, and workplace safety at all times.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in food, dairy processing, or pharmaceutical production environments, including operation of industrial equipment.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance standards.
• Result-driven mindset with a proactive approach and commitment to maintaining high quality output.
