About Avani Consulting and Role Overview
Avani Consulting is recruiting for a respected FMCG manufacturing company located in Nanjangud, Mysore. The role available is for a Production Associate, who will be part of the manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute production batches in alignment with targeted goals, adhering strictly to cGMP and safety standards.
- Ensure team compliance with gowning protocols, proper entry and exit procedures, and use of PPE within the production area.
- Follow process instructions accurately as specified in Batch Manufacturing Records and departmental procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practices on the production floor.
- Adhere to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards to deliver products meeting required specifications.
- Review batch records thoroughly upon completion before handing over to QA for review, compliance check, and product release or rejection.
- Promptly report any deviations or incidents and participate in investigations with cross-functional teams.
- Perform all documentation online, ensuring entries are legible, corrections are signed and dated.
- Monitor and control the manufacturing environment and complete daily logbooks consistently.
- Oversee preventive maintenance of equipment, and ensure timely calibration of gauges and instruments with results remaining within control specifications.
- Manage sanitization activities within the department effectively.
- Support QA departments during investigations involving Out of Specification (OOS) results, deviations, CAPA, incidents, complaints, recalls, and validation procedures.
- Handle raw materials, intermediates, and APIs by labeling them at each process stage, storing with segregation, and maintaining recommended storage conditions to preserve product quality.
- Perform regular stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Production Head.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry, or possess a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. References are highly valued and will be given preference.
