Product Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager on a contract basis who will work remotely, contributing between 10 to 40 hours weekly. The compensation ranges from $40 to $80 per hour. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the product roadmap, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and development teams to deliver impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the product roadmap in partnership with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Collect and prioritize customer requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of product features from initial conception through launch and subsequent enhancements.
• Guide agile development processes utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Linear.
• Lead cross-disciplinary meetings, effectively communicating the product vision, progress updates, and priorities.
• Perform market research and competitor evaluations to shape product strategies and maintain differentiation.
• Track and analyze product performance metrics to promote ongoing improvement and higher user satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager in fast-moving environments (minimum years of experience not specified).
• Strong proficiency with product management platforms, especially Jira and Linear.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating effectively within remote and distributed teams.
• Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven success in managing products from idea generation through market launch.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers, designers, and other key stakeholders throughout the development process.
