Product Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Product Design Engineer who will be responsible for the development and enhancement of pump and flow measurement devices by converting sales and marketing requirements into reliable engineering designs.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design new products as well as improve existing ones using SolidWorks alongside Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
• Conduct mechanical performance assessments including force, stress, and deflection evaluations to guarantee product durability.
• Create components such as bearings, bushings, gears, and connections that meet both functional and structural criteria.
• Work closely with cross-departmental teams to support product development phases, testing protocols, and problem resolution.
• Develop and verify testing procedures, interpret performance results, and ensure products comply with applicable industry standards and certifications.
• Offer technical assistance to internal colleagues, clients, and suppliers as needed.
• Guide junior engineering staff and oversee project scheduling and documentation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a relevant engineering position.
• Expertise in SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis software.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes along with materials knowledge including metals and plastics.
• Excellent analytical thinking, clear communication, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Competent in project planning and comfortable working collaboratively within team settings.

Additional Information

The position is primarily onsite with minimal travel expectation. The engineer will focus on producing high-quality, manufacturable products that satisfy both industry benchmarks and client requirements.
