Produce Stocker

Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Produce Stocker offers a valuable opportunity to build experience within the retail sector. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service aligned with Walmart's core principles, maintaining and organizing the produce section, and supporting stocking processes alongside product sales.

Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department effectively.
• Rotate stock regularly while monitoring for expired items.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing of merchandise.
• Comply with cold chain standards, including thermometer calibration, temperature documentation, proper food handling, item rotation, and adhering to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Maintain food safety practices and execute sanitation and cleaning routines accordingly.
• Follow procedural guidelines for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, labeling, and flagging of products.
• Keep the department fully stocked to ensure readiness for business operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently.
• Manage stock replenishment and downstocking, applying product protection where necessary, and complete modular setups including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The hourly pay for this position begins at 19.05 CAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years or older.
