About the Company

A Global 200 enterprise is establishing its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and has collaborated with Flexiple to onboard the initial procurement team. This opportunity offers a foundational role with a company committed to significant investment in India, with the ability to design procurement operations from inception.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee the complete procurement lifecycle across various categories, from demand collection through purchase order completion. The role focuses on balancing cost, quality, and timely delivery, while providing transparent spending insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activities, request for quotations (RFQs), and supplier selection for both direct and indirect procurement categories.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and delivery schedules to meet cost reduction and savings goals.
• Oversee the entire purchase order process from requisition submission to goods receipt confirmation.
• Develop and sustain a dependable supplier network, monitoring supplier performance continuously.
• Provide leadership with detailed reports on expenditure, savings achieved, and category dynamics.
• Enhance procurement policies, strengthen control mechanisms, and streamline approval workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Possess between 3 to 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing roles.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills combined with a focus on optimizing cost and quality.
• Proficient in ERP systems or procurement software and adept at spend analysis and reporting.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, and maintain a dependable remote working setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in establishing procurement processes within a new team or corporate centre.
• Background working in a GCC, shared service centre, or large multinational corporation environment.
• Educational qualifications in supply chain management, engineering, business, or related professional certifications.
