Procurement Executive

Job Overview

This role involves analyzing and assessing marine and topside equipment purchases, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating procurement activities aligned with project requirements and schedules. The candidate will manage end-to-end purchasing processes including sourcing, quotation, negotiation, order management, and delivery monitoring. Collaboration with project teams and vendors is essential to ensure compliance with specifications and budget limits.

Key Duties

• Evaluate and analyze marine and topside equipment for procurement purposes.
• Engage in supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Review purchase requisitions and orders based on project needs and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal project teams and external vendors to meet equipment and materials specifications within budget.
• Handle the full range of purchasing functions including sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping, and delivery.
• Issue purchase orders adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Expedite orders and follow up with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Recommend and assess vendor performance for procurement quality assurance.
• Oversee warehouse operations ensuring proper equipment and material handling.
• Resolve discrepancies in deliveries and monitor inventory movement and storage records accurately.
• Supervise warehouse staff to ensure task completion according to plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Process, Marine Offshore, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in topside equipment considered advantageous.
• Entry-level candidates may apply as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior contract management experience specifically for equipment, especially topside, is a plus.

Work Location and Hours

Positions are based at Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., Tuas Boulevard Yard (80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051) and Tuas Yard (Pioneer Sector 1, Singapore 628437). Islandwide transport is provided.

Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
