Procurement Analyst

Position Overview

Helic & Co is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Procurement Analyst to oversee purchasing functions and manage supplier partnerships. This position involves sourcing products and services, negotiating agreements, and ensuring on-time deliveries while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and assess suppliers considering price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts effectively with vendors.
• Manage purchase orders ensuring timely procurement of necessary goods and services.
• Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to handle and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and company procedures.
• Track and report key procurement metrics such as cost savings and supplier performance.
• Conduct market research to discover new suppliers and industry trends.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams for budget coordination and alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP or procurement software platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of strategic sourcing and vendor management principles.
• Experience in contract administration.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and budget planning.
• Procurement certifications such as CPSM or CIPS are advantageous.
