Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Overview

This role involves creating a safe, well-organized, and nurturing classroom atmosphere tailored for pre-primary children. The teacher is expected to uphold health and safety standards consistently while delivering age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with developmental milestones.

Classroom Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment conducive to learning.
• Plan a balanced daily schedule including active, quiet, meal, and rest times suitable for young children’s needs.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson activities based on curricular plans with flexibility to adjust to children's interests and needs.

Supervision and Care

• Oversee children during all activities including indoor/outdoor play, meals, and rest.
• Provide necessary personal care and support to individual children.
• Promote positive behavior and promptly handle emergencies including administering basic first aid where needed.
• Communicate effectively with children using age-appropriate methods.

Child Development Monitoring

• Observe, assess, and document children's growth, behavior, and learning progress.
• Discuss developmental milestones and concerns with parents or guardians regularly.

Professional Conduct

• Engage in continuous professional training and development.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the school management.
