Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Pool Attendant position in Indore. The role focuses on keeping the pool area clean, organized, and safe while ensuring guests have a smooth and pleasant experience.
What You Will Do
- Monitor day-to-day poolside operations and maintain a tidy, guest-ready environment.
- Arrange loungers, towels, and other pool amenities in an orderly manner.
- Make sure hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Welcome guests, answer questions, and share information about pool rules and available services.
- Assist with basic service support around the pool area.
- Escalate any maintenance issues, unsafe conditions, or other concerns to the relevant team.
- Support lifeguard personnel as required.
- Help track and manage poolside inventory and supplies.
- Contribute to a relaxed, safe, and courteous atmosphere for all visitors.
Qualifications And Requirements
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to deal politely and professionally with guests from varied backgrounds.
- Working understanding of pool safety practices and cleanliness standards, along with a willingness to follow hotel health and safety procedures.
- Good spoken communication in English and local languages for giving clear guidance and information.
- Physical ability to work outdoors for long periods and to move or set up light equipment and supplies.
- Strong eye for detail to keep the poolside area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Experience in hospitality, recreation, or another guest-facing role will be considered an advantage.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on business needs.
- High school completion or an equivalent qualification; extra training or certification in pool operations or safety is a plus.
