Role Summary
The Plant Supervisor position based in Camden is vital for the efficient operation of the concrete and mortar production facility. This role ensures the delivery of superior quality products aligned with customer demands while upholding stringent safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate between the Order Office, plant personnel, and customers to guarantee production meets demand, maintaining optimal output, high quality, and established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and oversee routine maintenance tasks to keep plant machinery, equipment, buildings, and surrounding areas clean and fully operational.
- Manage environmental compliance related to waste handling, water discharge, and dust control in accordance with designated procedures.
- Ensure adequate stock levels for production by inspecting incoming materials thoroughly.
- Perform weekly stock visual checks to monitor inventory levels of all materials.
- Enforce safety protocols among employees, contractors, and visitors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Consistently evaluate work practices and equipment usage to enhance overall plant efficiency.
- Stay current with industry best practices and complete any required training sessions.
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by management.
