Overview
This role is based in Saudi Arabia within the steel manufacturing and production sector, focusing on ultrasonic testing of pipe ends. The position requires specialized skills in nondestructive evaluation and ultrasonic equipment handling within an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Perform ultrasonic testing specifically on pipe ends adhering to industry standards.
- Ensure accurate calibration of ultrasonic testing instruments prior to inspections.
- Interpret ultrasonic signals effectively to assess material integrity.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations during all testing procedures.
- Produce and maintain thorough documentation of testing results and processes.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum qualification of Diploma or Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) certification in relevant technical fields.
- Experience between 5 to 8 years in steel manufacturing or production environments, specifically involving ultrasonic testing.
