Role Overview

The Home Care team is currently inviting applications for a Physiotherapist passionate about improving the wellbeing of older adults. The role focuses on providing person-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to enhance client independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, outcome-focused physiotherapy assessments and treatments, including management of acute and chronic pain.
• Implement functional reablement and falls prevention/recovery programs tailored to individual client goals.
• Manage chronic diseases and multimorbidity by designing personalised intervention plans.
• Assess and prescribe mobility aids as required.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote client wellbeing.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior physiotherapist with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, registered with AHPRA without practice restrictions. They demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, expertise in pain management, rehabilitation, falls prevention, and have excellent communication and documentation skills. A genuine commitment to person-centred care and teamwork is essential.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration (General) with no relevant conditions.
• Minimum 3-5 years of physiotherapy experience, including senior clinical responsibilities.
• Proven history in delivering targeted interventions for older adults, including managing chronic conditions and prescribing mobility aids.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Compliance with pre-employment checks: National Police Clearance (within 6 months), NDIS Worker Screening Check, influenza immunisation record, and health questionnaire.
