Payroll Associate - CRO

Role Overview

This opportunity is open exclusively for fresh graduate UAE Nationals based in Abu Dhabi to join ADIB as a Payroll Associate within the CRO department. The primary objective is to oversee products and service functionalities, ensuring quality service delivery to staff, maintaining operational controls, and continuously enhancing financial service efficiency while representing ADIB positively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff account documentation by addressing inquiries, facilitating account openings and closings, ensuring form completion, and complying with KYC and Central Bank regulations.
• Administer finance account documentation related to finance and covered cards, maintain customer files accurately, prepare and obtain approvals for finance applications, input relevant data, and ensure correct form completion.
• Oversee staff management including supervising subordinates, organizing their training programs, and conducting performance appraisals.
• Execute other tasks assigned by management to aid operational functions.
• Enter payroll transaction data accurately within systems.
• Calculate and record overtime transactions as needed.
• Prepare various payment memos and invoices with accuracy.
• Handle advance leave salary processing and maintain updated advance salary reports.
• Assist in preparing journal vouchers (JVs), general ledger (GL) reports, and entries.

Expected Outcomes

• Support continuous process improvements by recommending workflow enhancements to branch managers at least once annually.
• Contribute to addressing internal audit and Insurance and Credit Department (ICD) comments with detailed and comprehensive information relevant to financial products and staff services.
• Ensure adherence to ADIB policies and procedures by performing essential operational controls during daily activities.

Specialist Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of ADIB’s Retail Banking financial products and services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Retail Credit and Operational Policies and Procedures at ADIB.
• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, practices, and associated risks.
• Thorough knowledge of Central Bank of UAE regulations.
• Awareness of competitive landscape in the local banking market.
• Good grasp of customer service standards.
• Proven training and sales skills.
• Proficient in management information systems.
• Competent computer skills.
