About the Role and Location

This position is based at the Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, part of the global luxury brand Anantara Hotels & Resorts, which is inspired by Thai culture and emphasizes authentic hospitality. The resort is located in a scenic eco-sanctuary offering beach, desert, and mountain adventures just 45 minutes from Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster guest satisfaction by creating and maintaining a supportive team environment that focuses on service excellence and team member happiness.
• Ensure timely and polite delivery of all food and beverage orders, upholding a positive guest experience and maintaining cleanliness in guest areas.
• Oversee food and beverage service quality across Restaurants and Room Service to guarantee complete guest gratification.
• Actively assist during shifts by serving guests, seating them appropriately, liaising with the kitchen, and engaging with guests whenever possible.
• Support team motivation and training efforts to build a skilled workforce.
• Manage shift operations including opening and closing using standardized checklists.
• Enforce Minor Hotels service standards consistently throughout all operations.
• Implement revenue control and verify checks accurately during shifts.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment for both staff and guests.
• Prepare all necessary materials for smooth shift management such as schedules, floor plans, reservations, and checks.
• Resolve daily operational issues like staff absences and last-minute reservations promptly and effectively.
• Ensure the supervisor's presence on the floor for the duration of meal service to maintain appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Confirm that only high-quality products are served to guests.
• Uphold team member uniform standards consistently.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance activities through work orders and inspections.
• Distribute work stations fairly among staff and handle team relations including scheduling and time adjustments.
• Assist team members with their duties to guarantee excellent guest service and facilitate an effective training program.
• Promote problem-solving and empowerment among staff to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Build trust and respect with team members by communicating effectively and implementing fair counseling and disciplinary procedures.
• Recommend incentive schemes, innovative ideas, and improved operation methods.
• Maintain professional and effective guest interactions requiring superior communication skills.
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.

• Skilled in problem-solving and resolving conflicts promptly.
• Ability to manage daily outlet operations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and adept at time management.
