About the Role

Join Stryker in Limerick as an Operations Supervisor on a swing shift schedule alternating between day shifts (Monday to Friday) and evening shifts (Monday to Thursday). Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Supervisors while spearheading Operational Excellence and complex organizational change initiatives.
• Support the Operations Manager by deputizing and potentially managing production areas and teams.
• Drive operational improvement projects and engage in broader site or campus initiatives.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Analyze progress, assess outcomes, and propose procedural enhancements for efficiency.
• Maximize resource utilization to achieve outstanding results across key business metrics.
• Represent the business unit at site and operational forums as deputy to the Operations Manager.
• Manage production teams to meet customer needs and achieve KPIs related to Quality, Service, Cost, and People Development.
• Participate in business unit budget planning and uphold compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Champion 6S methodology through coaching and leadership, setting process standards and goals.
• Mentor graduates and Operations supervisors, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, trust, and inclusion.
• Create a positive work environment encouraging high employee engagement and collaboration across teams.
• Provide constructive feedback, ensure fair treatment of employees, and address performance issues promptly and respectfully.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or Master's in Business, Production Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience supervising production teams or indirect staff with strong knowledge of production principles and procedures.
• Ability to work independently, consulting leadership only on unusual matters.
• Proven leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and multiple production groups.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with solid business acumen aimed at process improvements.
• Knowledgeable about GMP/FDA regulations, housekeeping, health and safety practices.
• Committed to investing in people, enabling individual and team development, and fostering engagement.
• Skilled in coaching, delivering effective feedback, and managing performance issues.
• Experienced in problem-solving methodologies with desirable process knowledge.
• Capable of interpreting data to inform operational decisions and actions.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.

Additional Information

This position offers an annual salary ranging from €57,000 to €94,000. Compensation may include bonuses and commissions alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates will receive transparent information about salary and benefits throughout the hiring process from their recruiter.
