Position Overview
The role of Payments Processing Analyst involves accurate and complete handling of payment transactions, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements and industry standards. Tasks include time-sensitive, occasionally complex or regulated activities, involving interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a member of Deutsche Bank's Cash Management operations—recognized globally as a key provider of transaction services—the position supports the bank's status as the top Euro and US Dollar clearing institution, servicing a global client base of financial institutions and corporations. Based in Dublin, this role supports the London branch with payments products such as CHAPS, BACS, Cheque clearing, and Faster Payments.

Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and promptly act on payment queues to ensure smooth processing
- Prioritize transactions based on currency and payment method to meet clearing and agent deadlines
- Identify and suggest process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and decreasing errors
- Adhere to Deutsche Bank's internal policies and audit standards to uphold financial controls
- Assist with testing and deployment of system enhancements
- Escalate operational, regulatory, and other significant risks to management and functional leaders appropriately
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong understanding or keen interest in international payment clearing systems, messaging standards, and SWIFT
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
- Able to manage workload effectively under pressure in a dynamic setting, both independently and within a team
- Customer-oriented with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service and resolving issues thoroughly
