Role Overview
As our company expands, particularly with our Mars Hill facility serving as our operational hub, we seek an Office Manager to manage the day-to-day office environment. With shipments increasing from 114 units in 2025 to over 230 in 2026, this position is essential to keep the workspace organized and efficient, allowing manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to concentrate on production and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office functions ensuring the workspace remains clean, organized, safe, and fully operational.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and vendor relationships including managing building services and contractors.
- Manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, breakroom items, cleaning products, and other consumables.
- Act as main liaison for facility-related vendors (janitorial, HVAC, telecom, security), overseeing contracts, scheduling, and quality of service.
- Provide support to onsite staff with workspace setup, new hire onboarding, meeting planning, team events, and visitor management.
- Handle mail, shipping, and receiving processes for non-production related office items, coordinating with delivery carriers.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and fire regulations, maintaining safety equipment and documentation.
- Assist with general administrative duties supporting operations and leadership teams as required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years’ experience in office management, facilities coordination, or administrative operations.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and service contracts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Competency in fundamental office technology such as email, spreadsheet management, and cloud storage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools for communication and administrative task automation.
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations such as OSHA basics.
- Background in supporting onboarding and new hire logistics.
- Previous involvement with startups or fast-growing businesses.
- Direct knowledge of the Asheville / Western North Carolina region.
Technical Skills
- Expertise with Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets).
- Basic spreadsheet skills for budget tracking, inventory control, and contract management.
- Comfortable using communication platforms like Slack or equivalents.
- Preferred familiarity with Notion as a knowledge management and project planning tool.

Compensation and Location
- Salary range from $52,000 to $60,000 annually plus benefits.
- Company covers 80% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums.
- Equity offered with 15,000 stock options vesting over four years subject to a one-year cliff.
- On-site position based in Mars Hill, North Carolina.
